The Ethiopian Renaissance Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities (ERJSSH) is an interdisciplinary and scholarly publication affiliated with the College of Social Sciences and Humanities at the University of Gondar, located in Ethiopia. Established in 2014, the ERJSSH aims at providing a platform for scholars to share original, open-access, and peer-reviewed research that explores human society and culture. ERJSSH is a biannual, double-blind peer-reviewed journal. It welcomes contributions from a broad spectrum of disciplines within the social sciences and humanities. This journal features scholarly original research articles, article reviews, book reviews, case studies, scoping review, systematic review, protocols and research synopses.
Articles published in the ERJSSH often inform public policy, educational reform, cultural preservation, and social development initiatives. By exploring themes like identity, tradition, globalization and social change, the ERJSSH helps deepen pervasive understanding of diverse cultures and human experiences. More than a repository of academic knowledge, ERJSSH functions as a dynamic intellectual forum- advancing critical reflection, scholarly innovation, and transformative engagement with pressing societal issues.
